  • What if the defendant fails to appear in court?

The court will order the bail bond. In Colorado, Kingdom Business will have 120 days from the date of the forfeiture, to find the defendant and return him or to the courts. In these situations, the defendant’s bond can usually be reinstated provided that the defendant contacts us immediately after he or she fails to appear in court. If we are not contacted immediately, we assume that the defendant has skipped bail.
